On April 28, XPeng Motors announced the official launch of its XPeng Intelligent Assisted Driving Peace of Mind Service.

It is reported that the XPeng Intelligent Assisted Driving Peace of Mind Service is priced at 239 yuan per year, with a maximum compensation of 1 million yuan. It boasts four major advantages: comprehensive coverage of scenarios (driving and parking), a wide range of insurance companies (5 leading insurance companies), unlimited compensation claims, and availability for all vehicle models. XPeng Motors stated that this service is the only one in the industry that offers benefits within 5 seconds after exiting NGP.

At the same time, XPeng Motors emphasized that the conclusion of being "the only one in the industry" is based on publicly available information on intelligent assisted driving guarantee products released by automakers as of the time of publication. If similar products emerge in the market, the actual situation shall prevail.

The "all-scenario" coverage includes intelligent assisted driving and parking functions. The driving functions include Navigation Guided Pilot (NGP), AI Chauffeur, and Lane Centering Control (LCC), with the guarantee period starting from the activation of the driving functions and ending 5 seconds after exiting. The parking functions include Super Intelligent Assisted Parking APA (including remote parking, intelligent outflows from warehouses, and intelligent parking assistance), Valet Parking Assist (VPA), and Reverse Tracking, with the guarantee period starting from the activation of the parking functions and ending upon exiting.

This service is a service benefit specifically for the intelligent assisted driving functions of XPeng Motors and does not replace compulsory traffic insurance or commercial vehicle insurance. After the launch of this service, only new and renewal customers who purchase vehicle insurance through XPeng Motors' official cooperation channels are eligible to purchase it. For details on the eligibility conditions, please refer to the "Intelligent Assisted Driving Peace of Mind Service Agreement." Intelligent assisted driving is not autonomous driving. During the use of this function, the driver, not the system, is the controller of the vehicle. The driver must remain vigilant about road conditions and be prepared to take over the vehicle at any time. This service is provided by XPeng Motors to customers, with insurance plans provided by multiple leading insurance companies for XPeng Motors.

In addition to XPeng Motors, companies such as Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), Xiaomi, and Avatr have successively collaborated with insurance companies to launch intelligent driving insurance products.
